Lamb Shank
Ingredients:
⇨ 2 Lamb shanks
⇨ 15ml Paprika ⇨ 60ml tomato paste ⇨ 1 green pepper
⇨ 1 large Onion ⇨ 4cups of water ⇨ Fresh parsley
⇨ 1 tablespoon black pepper
⇨ Salt
⇨ Salt
Method:
⇨ Fry onion and green pepper and season with black pepper, paprika and salt.
⇨ Add lamb shank to the frying mixture and add tomato paste.
⇨ Pour in water .
⇨ Cover the pot and reduce the heat then allow to simmer for 3-4 hours or until the lamb is tender, checking on it every 30 minutes or so to ensure the meat hasn't dried out.
⇨ Add parsley and more water if necessary.
